The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, OYC, says Nnamdi Kanu and his group, Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have fallen. OYC described a current crisis in the IPOB leadership as the resistance by top officials of the group to revert to the status quo of nonviolence agitation of Biafra. The Igbo youths alleged that Kanu’s alleged authoritarian stance on introducing impunity is capable of plunging Nigeria into another civil war. The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo, has called for thorough investigation into the monstrous killing of a pregnant woman in Nchatancha Nike in Enugu State. In a release by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Emeka Attamah, the President General said that though the Executive of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Enugu State had visited the home of the victim, it was still necessary for him to add his voice to the condemnation of the dastardly and inhuman act. President-General, of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Nnia Nwodo has said he did not collected N6.2 billion from President Muhammadu Buhari to implement the Federal Government’s RUGA programme in the South-East. He stated this in a press release signed and issued to journalists by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Emeka Attamah, on Friday. According to Nwodo, he was neither a traditional ruler nor governor in the South-East, as such, he had no land in his custody to offer for RUGA.
