Just Like Nigeria, I Should Have Banned Facebook, Twitter When I Was US President, Trump Says

The former President, Donald Trump, on Thursday, commended Nigeria for a ban on Twitter, saying that more and more countries are going to do the same thing.

The Nigerian government banned Twitter last Friday, after the program is removed from a controversial remark by President Muhammadu Buhari in which he referred to as the Nigerian civil war. Many Nigerians have described it as disgusting.

He commended Nigeria for its past actions in a statement on Tuesday.

Trump’s statement starts with a “congratulations” to Nigeria for banning Twitter and said, “More COUNTRIES should ban Twitter and Facebook for not allowing free and open speech.”

“In the meantime, competitors will emerge and take hold,” Trump continues. “Who are they to dictate good and evil if they themselves are evil?”

“Perhaps I should have done it while I was President. But Zuckerberg kept calling me and coming to the White House for dinner telling me how great I was. 2024?'

Facebook has recently confirmed that Trump's ban on the platform and in this blog, as he has recently, with the help of the post claims that this is not the case.
