NIGERIA: Law allows Nigerians to defend themselves from attacks – Sagay

Image
Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC) chairman Prof Itse Sagay (SAN) on Sunday said the law allows Nigerians to defend themselves from being massacred. He backed the advice by a former Minister of Defence and an elder statesman, Lt. Gen. Theophilus  Danjuma (rtd.) that Nigerians should defend themselves against killers. Sagay urged the Federal Government to investigate Danjuma’s allegations that the armed forces were not neutral. According to him, the allegation that the armed forces guide the bandits to kill people and cover them up were “serious”. Sagay said: “General Danjuma did not say that the military is incapable. But he accused them of bias and not protecting the people deliberately. That’s a very, very serious accusation. “And this is coming from such a senior man in Nigeria’s military – probably apart from former General Olusegun Obasanjo and General Yakubu Gowon, he (Dajuma) is the most senior former military officer we have – and he’s a man

IPOB: Biafrans Voiced Out, Calls Nigeria A Shithole Over The Killing Of Innocent Civilians

Image
NIGERIAN- THE 'SHITHOLE” COUNTRY Few months back, the president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, called African countries shithole countries. Shithole in a clearer sense means an anal opening for the removal of gaseous waste such as fart and faucal matter. It's of no importance if not for the passage of waste. President Trump, may have had reasons for calling the countries of Africa a shithole countries, despite the fact the USA has a hand in the height of poverty and killings in Africa today (they were among those who spearheaded and bought more persons during the transatlantic slave trade, hence reducing the workforce (youths) in Africa). Africa may be one the continent with a good number of her children in another man's land either by hook or by crook (by slave trade or by free will). Nigeria is the worst, people are running away from Nigeria because of the height of poverty they are exposed to due to bad leadership. Why won't President Trump c

Biafra Agitation Is Never A Crime Against Humanity Under Nigeria Constitution - IPOB Replies Court

Biafra: Agitation for secession not an offence under Nigerian Law – IPOB fires back at court The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has argued that agitation for secession is not an offence under the Nigerian laws. IPOB said this in reaction to the secret trial of its elusive leader, Nnamdi Kanu’s co-defenders, Bright Chimezie, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi. In a statement by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, IPOB questioned the jurisdiction of the Federal High court sitting in Abuja to proceed with the trial of its members over treasonable felony. IPOB said it has instructed its lawyers to challenge the court’s jurisdiction and to strike out the charge of ‘Treasonable Felony’ against it’s members on the grounds of what a prosecution witness said, “agitating for self-determination or secession is not a crime known to any Nigerian law.”

Court Update: IPOB Vs Nigeria at Federal High Court Abuja  Honorable Justice Binta Murtala Nyako presiding

Image
.... surprise surprise, Justice Binta Nyako has adjourned the case yet again to May 27, 2018. This is a criminal matter that they have been screaming they want accelerated trial for but here they are with their long adjournment again. Suddenly they have decided to use their trusted lengthy adjournment to further detain innocent Biafrans in their custody. The first and only witness (Mr. A&B) called today by the prosecution to testify against Mr Bright Chimezie Ishinwa on his role in the conspiracy to overthrow Buhari's regime and create Biafra, started by talking about an AM analogue radio transmitter housed in a container somewhere at DSS headquarters in Abuja. What the prosecution was trying to prove is that Mr Bright Chimezie Ishinwa and by extension IPOB, knowingly imported the transmitter to be used in the overthrow of Buhari's regime. Mind you the transmitter in question or the container is not a contraband as ruled by the same Justice Binta Nyako in her court

Tillerson Saga: Nigeria Should Learn Great Lesson On Biafra Agitation (Full Report)

Image
TILLERSON’S SACK, A GREAT LESSON TO NIGERIA ON BIAFRA ISSUES The sack of Mr Rex Tillerson is an important lesson to Buhari and Nigerian government. Tillerson, who was sacked by the president of United States of America, after his visit to Buhari was the former CEO of ExxonMobil, and was appointed US secretary of state.  It should be recalled that Buhari, the president of Nigeria voted against Trump's decision to move the United States' embassy to Jerusalem. Buhari led government also is the same government that killed innocent and unarmed Indigenous People of Biafra on the inaugural day of Trump's administration. Buhari abused the rights of the people of Biafra because they were requesting for the release of their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and because trump did not say a thing they thought he was not aware of the atrocities that are being committed by the Nigerian government.    Mr Tillerson wanted to play fast by not including Nigeria on the list of countries he will

Biafra: strange occurrences hit ipob leader, kanu’s hometown

Community demands N500 million from FG to appease the gods Six months after the military invaded the Afaraukwu home of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, the people of the community have been licking their wounds and waiting in anxiety for the return of their traditional ruler,  Eze Isaac Okwu Kanu and his wife, who were taken away, but have not come home since then. As they are waiting, the people are also demanding from the Federal Government the sum of N500 million to enable them cleanse their community which they claimed the invading soldiers desecrated. The Afaraukwu invasion The Afaraukwu community, a key integral part of the boisterous Abia State capital also had a serene environment, no wonder it is home to the Abia State Government House, quarters of most senior military and police officers in the state; and most importantly, home to the famous Ojukwu Bunker. The serenity of the community was, however, disrupted on September 14, 2017, when the mi
